Identify

In order for a book to be a ‘good book’ it has to be interesting and have to relate to my life in any way. It would also have to have a good story line and have a few suspense here and there. Books relating to life are the books I would read most particularly because it would help me understand it more, understand the characters feelings and emotion. If the book doesn't have a good story line then there’s really no point into keeping on reading it, it makes me question my self “What’s the point any ways?”. I like suspense wether its on TV shows, movies and even books, it makes you wanna keep reading the book and wanting to find out what happens next, and makes you think outside the box.

A book I’m reading called Uglies by Scott Westerfeld contains all of these great qualities within a “good book”. The story relates to my life in a way that Tally (the main character) is a teenager. I can relate to her actions and emotions. From the beginning to where I am at the book now, it had a great story line. Every chapter has a suspense and it makes you wanna keep going to the next chapter. Another book I’ve read that also contains all three of these traits for a good book is the Pretty Little Liars series.
